We are pleased to announce a partnership between KingSize and James R. Sanders. He’s been selected as a brand ambassador for the company and will be donning some prime threads from King Size and writing about it exclusively for #StyledbyJames. In addition, James will be promoting the images across all of his social media channels.
James’s most recent project entitled, “Foxy Cleopatra” is an homage to the Blaxploitation film genre of the 1970s for Vogue Italia. The story along with the photos are part of James’s fashion book which is currently in production. In the story, James writes about some of his favorite films from the genre including: “Foxy Brown,” “Cleopatra Jones,” and “TNT Jackson.” James was also asked to style a story to go with the written piece. Using “Mahogany” and “Cleopatra Jones” as his main inspiration, James teamed with famed fashion photographer Marcus Derricotte’ to style AIM New York model Ashley Hart.
The Styled by James team is pleased to announce that James has partnered with GAP to produce a summer fashion series curated and written by James. The Gap brand is synonymous with All-American fashion and style and James is thrilled to have been approached.

A few months ago, James was approached by High End, a popular fashion magazine in Indonesia of all places. James was thrilled to be involved and we were as well when we heard that they were interested in running a featured interview with him. They interviewed the stylist/editor about tips for the spring and summer along with how he broke into the industry almost a decade ago. Time flies when you’re being fabulous. Indonesia has a budding fashion scene with talented designers and editors and is quickly popping up on the radar of the fashion industry. James was happy to be considered by High End’s editorial staff for their April 2015 issue especially because it’s their 7th anniversary issue. You can purchase the digital copy here. Sadly the print version is only available in Indonesia.
